How much does it cost to repair my wheel?

Do I need to clean my wheels?
Yes, please make sure your wheels are clean before the Wheel Doctor starts work refurbishing them. Cleaning takes additional time and we will have to charge $25 per wheel if they are not clean.
Does the wheel have to come off the car to be repaired?
No, we repair and paint the wheel while it is on your car.
How is my wheel repaired?
We are a fully equipped mobile service. Our methods include mild machining, sanding and painting with a final application of a clear coat.
Will there be any overspray?
No, we use a specialist paint spraying system to make sure there is no overspray anywhere on your car.
When can I wash my car after a wheel repair?
We ask you not to wash your car for 48 hours after repairs have been completed.
Is your repair work guaranteed?
Yes, we guarantee our work for 12 months. We do it right the first time or we do it again. Our finishes will not fade, scratch more than original or prematurely peel. We guarantee our headlight restorations for 2 years.
Will the refurbished wheel stand up to tyre changes?
Our repairs are robust enough that they are not adversely affected by normal tyre changes using normal techniques.

It depends to the level of damage and filling / sanding/ painting required.
How much does it cost to repair my bumper scuff or scrape?

Does the bumper need to be removed to be repaired?
No, we repair and paint the bumper while it is on your car. Damage requiring removal would be more serious and need to go to a panel shop.
How is my bumper scuff repaired?
We are a fully equipped mobile service. Our methods include colour matching, mild sanding, filling as necessary, multiple light coats of paint with a final application of a clear coat.
Will there be any overspray?
No, we will apply masking to protect your car.
When can I wash my car after a bumper repair?
We ask you not to wash your car for 48 hours after repairs have been completed to allow the paint to harden.

Headlight Restoration
How much does it cost to repair my bumper scuff or scrape?
Headlight restorations are $220 including GST for each headlight.
Sounds expensive, why can’t I just use toothpaste and do it myself?
If we thought it would give good results, we would too! But it doesn’t, so we buff the headlight with a machine then apply a clearcoat to minimise further UV damage. Remember, we guarantee headlight restorations for 2 years.
